What quality are your canvas prints?
We pride ourselves on providing high quality canvas prints
for both our limited edition prints and personalised art.
All our prints are produced on archive quality canvas and
use extremely durable, fade resistant 'UV inks'. All our prints
are hand stretched after printing, by our in-house framer
on professional quality stretcher bars. We are so convinced
that our customers will be pleasantly surprised by the superior
quality of our limited edition prints that we offer a no quibble
returns policy. (see Terms and Conditions).
What exactly does Limited Edition
mean when it comes to your designs?
All Limited Edition pieces are printed and
numbered to order with a unique Limited Edition certificate
(numbers assigned randomly). Each design on the web site will
only be printed a maximum of fifty times. This is NOT 'per
size', but is regardless of the size of each print ordered.
This further increases the appeal of them being 'Limited',
as it is likely that any particular size being ordered will
only be printed a handful of times before the fifty certificated
numbers run out. The Limited Edition numbers are never re-used
or re-issued and are recorded at time of printing to ensure
authenticity.
Can you print any of my pictures/artwork?!
With the aid of scanning/photographic and retouch graphical
software we are able to produce canvases from almost any photo,
paper print, digital image or piece of artwork. Please feel
free to phone or email us with any questions regarding this.
Can you print other sizes other than
those specified?
The basic answer to this is yes. If there is a specific size
you require for your personal art, or perhaps even on one
of our limited edition range, please feel free to email us
with your requirements and we will be able to quote for your
specifications.
Will the colours I see on screen
be the same as my finished canvas?
Due to differences in monitor types and calibration, every
computer will display the images slightly differently. We
can not guarantee that any particular monitor or PC setup
will give an exact representation of a print, but we have
tried to gain a good representation of each print. We do however
offer a 'proof service'
and a returns policy (see terms
and conditions) which should aid peace of mind.
How do I keep my canvas in top condition?
To maintain the life span of your prints you just really need
common sense! A canvas care guide is always dispatched with
each of our prints, but really all you need to do is not be
silly and wipe them clean with a wet cloth or use detergent!!!
The canvases can be readily wiped free of dust with either
a dry/fine paint brush or a soft cloth.
How secure is the web site shopping
cart and my details that I provide to you?
Our web site is perfectly safe to use and is secured
by one of the worlds leading merchant providers 'HSBC'. You
can use our shopping cart facility just as you would with
any other major online retailer. All transactions remain secure
and all personal details provided will be used solely for
the use of the purchase and will never be used outside of
Lava Design Ltd or disclosed to any third party.
In terms of payment we can accept Visa, Mastercard,
Switch, Solo and Delta. Personal cheques are also accepted
with mail orders.
What happens if I wish to place an
order but would rather not use your online store?
Although our shopping cart is secure, we do accept that some
people do not wish to do business over the internet. In these
circumstances we are able to either take a credit card order
by telephone, or can accept orders via mail order with a personal
cheque.
How much is delivery and how long
will it take?
Delivery is free for ALL our UK orders over £50. We
aim to dispatch all orders in 10 days. This sometimes extends
to 14 days during busy periods, but we always keep all customers
up to date.
Do you deliver overseas?
Yes, please contact us for costs.
What happens if I don't like the
Limited Edition Print I ordered?
Lava Design Ltd hope that you will be satisfied with
your purchase. However, you are welcome to return your limited
edition print purchase, for whatever reason (please give details),
within 7 days of receipt and in its original packaging and
condition. Upon receipt at Lava Design Ltd we will refund
the full cost of the canvas. It is however,
the customers responsibility to ensure the safe return of
the canvas to Lava Design and to bear the associated costs.
Due to the nature of personalised artwork, we are unable to
accept returns unless prior authority has been given by Lava
Design and the customer has provided a reasonable reason for
return.
